Rachel is an experienced public speaker whose appearances have included being a moderator, panellist and speaker at conferences including Continuum, the HNSA conference, Conflux and the Bendigo Writers Festival. She is passionate about inspiring imaginations and encouraging a love of reading. She can run a workshop on the magic of stories, creating interesting characters, story structure, and/or developing ideas. Or, as an experienced teacher and presenter, she can create a workshop specifically for your requirements. Previous workshops have included travelling the world with Sleipnir, Odin’s magical flying horse, as part of the City of Literature program, and week-long programs on creative writing and ‘inspiring stories’ at the Velamaal School in India. She has spoken on what to wear in the Tudor and Renaissance eras and has tutored at university level on action research, editing and publishing.
